How do you draw the LINE?

A question I get a lot when describing what I do with Avandi is

"How do you find manufacturers?"

Well, finding the right people to manufacture the products that will end up in your homes is a huge part of my job.

It can take months to find the perfect collaborator, but when you do, it's great to start collaborating on a new project. Discussions sometimes lead to design iterations, and always help make the process better and more effective. 

Since Avandi's production is made in the USA, Maker's Row - a sort of "Yelp for US manufacturers" - has been a great tool for me to discover and contact manufacturers.

In fact, that's how I met Ryan, whose company now fabricates the new LINE Necklace Series.
